DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://erp.trsavage.com.au/event/ministry-of-metal-3"
 >Ministry of Metal</a>\nMinistry of Metal Ministry of Metal is an immersiv
e\, hands-on learning experience designed exclusively for architects and i
nterior designers to strengthen your knowledge of an often-misunderstood m
aterial. Taking part will allow you to design\, specify and talk with all
project stakeholders about metals with confidence. This will be a rare opp
ortunity\, over three sessions\, where technical knowledge\, material craf
t\, and design sensibility collide. The experience will decode the four me
tals that define contemporary interiors: Brass\, Stainless Steel\, Mild St
eel\, and Aluminium exploring not just what they are\, but how they behave
\, how they age\, how they perform across surfaces and products\, and how
to talk about them with conviction when advising clients. On the day: •
Hands on with real examples to see and feel the four metals in different s
tates. • Keynote presented by Joel Savage\, director and fourth-generati
on custodian of the business\, and James Groom\, creative director and ind
ustrial designer. • Your chance to be creative and customise your own ta
ctile artefact from what you have learned. • Grazing and drinks to fuel
conversations. Attendees who pre-register for a session will receive an ex
clusive\, personalised metal artifact created by Savage Design as a functi
onal reminder of the knowledge you have gained. Three sessions are availab
le. Pre-registration is essential for the personalised artefact. Walk-ups
 welcome.
